Thoughtful and questioning in nature, today’s photo story is presented by the wonderful Maria Kazvan from Lviv, Ukraine. Carefully juxtaposing the glorious landscapes of her hometown with her gentle yet powerful portraiture, she creates an astonishingly timeless and meaningful story about our relationship with the natural world.
Asked to describe her work, Maria tells us:
“The name of the project is called ‘Circle.’ It’s about humans and nature, with nature as a God figure. It’s about the connection between humans and this God-Nature, and how we lose it. It’s also about the fact that we are nature too, so at the end it’s about how we lose ourselves.”
