A 19-year-old photography student and fashion-loving Parisian, slide film lover Léa Gendrot has already caught the attention of the photography world through her thoughtful, melancholic, and at time dramatic portraits. Her photos are defined and kept grounded by the rich earthy colors that seem to dominate them so that while her subjects seem unattainable at first, their humanity slowly seeps through the photographs and the onlookers begin to see themselves in them.
And there lies the magic of Léa’s photographs.
